Streamlining the in-store experience and improving
brand perception

A guided sales tool and employee appointment organizer designed specifically for the tablets carried in-store by Sprint salespeople. The goal of the sales tool is to create an improved experience for both customers and employees via clear understandings that lead to shorter transaction times.

Developed from one of the leading concepts of our CX strategies, this application aims to embody Sprint's key brand foundation that everything they do is centered around their customers.

Combining the brand's customer-centric motivations with the tool's need to clearly communicate complex information, we developed a design approach centered around the principles of 'minimal elegance'.

'Minimal' via pared-down design elements -characterized by spareness and simplicity- with 'elegance' as a refined grace and a restrained beauty of style. The belief being that implementing these principles together would create scenarios where usability is high, brand association is favorable, and the level of cognitive effort is assumed lower.

I owned the app's visual style and defined the overall design system. Collaborating with our UX and the client's content liaison, I lead my small team to design templates and develop style guides.

The app was designed with our sister-studio in Toronto. The unique challenges this presented to our collaboration required improving my communication skills to better articulate my thinking when providing feedback to the team. I also gained an appreciation for Canadian 'All-Dressed' chips.
